The Great BRA Bake Off !

The Great BRA Bake-Off was a huge success this year, with over one hundred entries from pupils in Forms 1 to M6.
The theme of Harvest/Autumn led to some really creative and tasty bakes using seasonal ingredients in the four categories for entry: Celebration Cakes, Traybakes/Biscuits, Scones and Cupcakes.
1st place in cakes was Currie House with Phoebe Scott’s Bonfire Night Cake
1st place in the traybake/biscuit category was Shaw House with Ruby Johnston’s tree cakes
1st place in the scones category was Pottinger House with Eleanor Murphy’s cheese and bacon muffins
1st place in the cupcake category was Shaw with Ellen Watt’s Witches Cupcakes
With Cairns House earning 3rd place in traybakes and highly commended for Celebration Cakes, the final House Points totals will be eagerly anticipated! We look forward to the next House Assembly to find out!
