Traffic at School
The Cliftonville Road is very busy in the morning and the area around the main gates of the school can become very congested. If you leave your children to School by car, you would assist us greatly by stopping well away from the School gates. Parents are also asked not to drive into the School grounds at this busy time.
In the afternoon, buses have to park on the Cliftonville Road in front of the School and at our side entrance at Brookhill Avenue. Again, it would be appreciated if you could arrange to pick up your child away from these areas.
Bus Routes
More than half of our pupils travel to School by bus or train and we work closely with Translink and use our own buses to ensure a smooth transit for pupils. All pupils leaving School by public transport are supervised by staff; staff will be outside School, at Translink bus stops, at Yorkgate Train Station and in Brookhill Avenue, to ensure that pupils get on the correct bus and/or train. If any pupil is left in school and has missed his/her bus, he/she should report to the School Office. Pupils should not hesitate to inform us if there are any difficulties about these arrangements.

Our school buses will collect pupils at Yorkgate Train Station each morning- these run between 8:00am and 8:30am.

A school special bus runs from North/West Belfast. It travels to School from Silverstream (Ballysillan Park), leaving at 7:40am, via Crumlin Road (Glenbank corner), Twaddell Avenue, Ballygomartin Road, Woodvale Road, Shankill Road, Tennent Street, Crumlin Road to Cliftonpark Avenue, to School.

School buses to Yorkgate Train Station at the end of school each day. The buses wait in front of school and members of staff will direct Form I pupils onto them.
Bus times shown are the normal running times. However, these times are subject to operating issues and may change.
