BRA supports local youth charities

Belfast Royal Academy was delighted to recently be able to support two local youth charities and give them a small token of appreciation for the vital work they do within the school. Staff at the school raised £300 in a Christmas ballot and decided to share the proceeds with The YeHa Project and Streetbeat Youth Projects. Both organisations are based in North Belfast and provide support to young people’s health and wellbeing through education, training and counselling services. Counsellors from both charities provide valuable weekly sessions to a limited number of pupils in need, and their work and assistance is very much appreciated and valued by the entire School community. Pictured here are Clarisse Corr from Streatbeat and Cara O’Kane from The YeHa Project receiving their cheques from pupils.
