Show Jumping

GENERAL INFORMATION
Belfast Royal Academy Show Jumping Team in 2006/7 are the current champions of the Ulster Schools Showjumping Championships 2006/07. All the members of the team have represented the schools show jumping since joining the Academy. They all train once a week at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre. Due to the dedication and extra training over the past 2 years in school this has lead to their great success in 2006/07.

 

The team this year have proved that they are the leading competitors in Ulster Schools’ showjumping competitions, beating stiff competition from 30 other schools throughout Northern Ireland

 

The team which helped the school win this league was chosen from a selection of 16 BRA showjumping members. Due their competitive attitudes and dedication behind closed doors they have secured many great wins and are looking forward to another exciting season.

 

INDIVIDUAL SUCCESS

Catherine Moss (Form IV) was picked for the Pony Club Games Team to represent Northern Ireland at the Royal Windsor International Horse Show. Catherine is also representing the Northern Ireland Pony Club Games team at this Years Belfast International  Horse Show (25th-28th October) so watch out for her at this event.

B.R.A. Showjumping Team 2006/07 Ulster ChampionsThe Belfast Royal Academy Team took the honours at the 2006/07 Ulster Schools’ Showjumping Championships.  This year, B.R.A. are hosting the 2007/08 event at Knockagh View Equestrian Centre.  Will they be able to hold onto their crown this time around or will there be a new name on the silverware?
