Spanish
Our Aims
We aim to promote an awareness of Spanish language and culture within the school. At the end of Form 2 pupils have the opportunity to choose to begin to study Spanish the following year in Form 3. We give a talk at the subject choice meeting for Form 2 to highlight the importance of Spanish as a world language. Those who opt to take Spanish in Form 3 can continue to GCSE and beyond, or may drop it at the end of the year.

We have visited the George Best Belfast City Airport, which was formerly owned by the Spanish consortium, Ferrovial. They staged a business and Spanish insight day which proved very informative.
