European Studies in is a voluntary enrichment course which is available to pupils in L6. The course provides the opportunity to communicate and build links with various schools across Europe. Schools which are in regular contact during the course are shown below:

Throughout the year a number of different projects are completed, as agreed by the co-ordinators. These can include projects on local areas, sporting activities and environmental studies, such as recycling schemes or the migration progress within Ireland. The exchange of Powerpoint Presentations between the other schools provides understanding and garners a fuller insight into other countries within the EU. The course not only sets up communication links with other pupils within the EU, but also helps gain a better understanding of political and cultural views across Europe.
